Let's Have A Free Vegan Cone Day!

Like No Udder is more than just a business to us and Providence - many consider our little shop and truck to be a means of activism and a hub for both local vegan information and community building.
Our efforts have brought people together, lessened animal suffering and supported the physical and mental health of many vegan and dairy free people from near and far.
With the first year of the shop under our belts, we thought it would be fun to offer a Free Cone Day - like the big guys with the initials B & J. Alas, being a small shop (and still dealing with the aftermath our the truck’s hit and run accident last season,) such a day would be quite an undertaking. So… inspired by frequent instances of our customers wanting to “pay it forward” we thought we’d reach out to our community to help us subsidize our own FREE CONE DAY on Tuesday, April 4th - the same day as the big guys.
Our hope is that a FREE CONE DAY will get people to experience the wonders of non-dairy ice-cream - especially those reluctant to stop in and buy a cone on their own.
We’re simply looking to mitigate our costs so we aren’t asking for too much. We’d love to raise $800.00 - which will allow us to pass out about 700 cones (accounting for fees and income taxes.) We’ve chosen GoFundMe so we don’t have to worry about hitting minimums - allowing us to adjust the number of free cones we give out based on what we raise. If we raise way more than $800 - we’ll do another Free Cone event - either at the shop (perhaps on the shop’s birthday) or on the the truck.
We’ll have a donation jars out for to support a few animal vegan friendly causes.
