I travel for work all the time, I never get to travel with my son.
This year he's going to be 11, and I'm going to lose him soon. Girls are coming; he's smart and beautiful and he can’t wait to conquer the world.
I want to remember this moment with him, and I want to capture a moment for as many of you as I can too.
I've devised a project.
I want to do a book of America 2017 Family Portraits:
we would like to meet and photograph as many 'American Families' as possible on our trip across the country. We will be stopping and many different places on our trip and updating the entire way, if you are close to any of our stops, Please, come meet us and have your family photographed FREE OF CHARGE!
This book of family portraits telling their story through images and interviews will be published and shared with the world.
I honestly believe this is supposed to be my next big thing. It's truly full circle. I want to share this with my son and my family and with all of your families too.
Where Your Donations Go:
- Food & lodging for cross-country round-trip (economy accommodations)
- Gas, tolls, laundry on the road
- Go Fund Me fees (for processing pledges) - Approximately 7.9% of total
- Free Family Portraits for EVERYONE we visit on our trip, (sitting fee, plus 2 complimentary digital images: 1 print size and 1 websized)
Whether you can help a little or a lot, it is appreciated. If you choose to give anonymously, that’s ok, but if you leave your email, I will be offering some small incentives. I will randomly choose emails of donors who will receive an autographed copy of one of my previously published books. If we reach or exceed the goal for this project, I'll pick one person at random for each $100 over the goal to receive an autographed copy of this project once complete. This is not a lottery or an auction, but simply my way of saying thank you for your generosity.
Everyone who donates publicly, even one dollar, will be thanked by name on the "thank you" page of the book when published.
Everyone who donates will receive updates and behind the scenes photos of this adventure.
