On March 24th, 2017 our family suffered a tremendous tragedy, our beloved brother, son and friend Fred Barragan was tragically killed. It brings us so much pain to write these words and humbly ask for our friends and family for any support so that he may have a proper ceremony to celebrate his life.
Fred was a great son who loved our mother very much. He was always attentive to her and cared for her on a daily basis. He always wanted her to be taken care of. Our brother cared tremendously for his entire family, and was very close to all of us. He was a person who always was joking around and was always concerned about everyone else's well being. Fred was a very kind and loving person. He was always making everyone laugh, all those who knew him can't think of him without remembering a funny story :).
Fred was also a very generous person, he was the type of person that would take his sweater off and give to a person in need. He would give the last change or money in his pocket regardless if he needed it or not to help a person out, whether it be to buy someone food for themselves or to help out their families. He was hardworking and very reliable, he enjoyed earning his money and spending it on everyone right away too :) . Fred loved his friends and community, he will NEVER be forgotten. We extend a special thanks to all his friends and community that have reached out to support him. And a very special thank you to all of our familys' friends who continue to send their love.
