Frankie's Boys Will Grow

Dear Friends,
My family and I are in need of your love and support.
On Monday, November 16th, my brother, Frank Penny, III was murdered in south Minneapolis. Frank, or as we would call him “Frankie”, was a son, brother, and a father to four beautiful children, Frank IV (13 years), Jehson (12 years), Adrian (5 years), and Cashon (4 years). Frankie was only 39 years old and will never get to see his amazing boys grow into men. We buried Frankie and celebrated his life on Sunday, November 22, 2015 and now it is up to us to make sure his boys are safe, well-educated, and properly taken care of.
Everyone in our family is negatively and emotionally impacted by this devastating tragedy. Still, we must be stronger than ever, especially for Frankie’s boys. Many of our friends have sent their condolences and asked how else they might assist. We believe that raising funds for Frankie’s boys will have a lasting impact.
Our family will share custody of Frankie’s two oldest sons, Frank IV and Jehson. The younger two sons will remain with their mother. For now, Frank IV and Jehson will remain in school in Minneapolis. The boys will spend school breaks and summer vacation with me, in Washington, DC.
We have put together a list of expenses for about one year for Frank IV and Jehson. Many of you already know how expensive it is to raise a child - we now have several to look after. The expense categories includes meals, medical, insurance, educational, therapy, clothing, recreational, and their personal needs. Any amount that you are able to contribute is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
