Frank Crum Memorial Donations

Our dad Frank Crum passed away unexpectedly on January 6, 2018.     While he spent most of his life in California,  his favorite place was his hometown,  Betsy Layne, KY where he developed his love for basketball.     At Betsy Layne High School,  he set numerous scoring and shooting records and until the advent of the 3 pointer he was still listed in the top 50 scorers of all time. He was selected to play in the prestigious Kentucky vs Indiana All Star basketball game in 1951.  He received numerous offers from nationally known college programs but decided to attend Marshall University to be closer to his family.   He was inducted into the Betsy Layne Basketball Hall of Fame in 2007 

 In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to the Betsy Layne Basketball program so other young players can continue the tradition and follow their dreams of playing the sport they love
