NIGHTSHADE

Hello! My name is Charles Chudabala.  I have been creating art since I was little kid. When I was 11, I used to draw out  my own comic books and basically release them to myself :) It was very therapeutic, and possibly paved the way to my growing passion: acting in, and producing genre films. Most of my comic books included a witch figure or demonic possession of some kind. 

in 2014, I dove head first into acting, with my focus being, horror films. Since then Ive performed in, and starred in, over 55 films, with several worldwide releases ("Escape From Ensenada" "2 Jennifer" and "Anomaly") Im grateful, that I have had the opportunity to work with so many talented directors, actors, writers, cinematographers, production designers, costume designers, composers, and sound mixers. I can honestly, say that these are my colleagues and friends. 

With the support I have earned from these industry professionals, I feel ready to finally take on a directing role- and bring a personal vision of mine to LIFE... "Nightshade" is a horror fantasy short film based on a nightmare from my childhood.  "A girl confronts her fears when visitors from another land materialize in the shadows of the night..". The film stars scream queen Jennifer Nangle (Malvolia: The Queen Of Screams) , and Leah Schaefer. Principle photography is slated to begin November 2018. Paul Stephen Edwards will helm the project as director of photography. Visual artist, Ama Lea ("ABCs of Death 2.5"), will construct costume design for "Nightshade." 

As many of you know, there are expenses when a making moving art :) I humbly ask for any donations towards our goal of $1,000. Your donations/contributions will go towards supporting: costumes, catering actors, and crew during principle photography.
