Fountain of the Goddess

I'm creating a two part installation for my MA Degree Show at Central Saint Martins.

One part will be a water fountain sculpture, the other part a film. The whole project is looking at authenticity and new porn laws banning female ejaculation.

The fountain will be a cast scuplture of a woman masturbating and ejaculating, as a fountain, in a pool of water. The casting process is extremely expensive and then I hope to get it powder coated to a fantastic metalic finish. I will also have to make the tank/ pool in which it will sit in.

I will then also be running a film along side the sculpture, which depicts pornographic fake and real male ejaculation shots, which are still completely legal, to show the absurdity of the laws and to question authenticity. I will need a screen to show this on.

To create the sculpture and film installation the following rough costs apply:

Casting process £420
Finishing off cast/ powder coating £400
Pool £180
TV Screen £3-500

I will also be able to include a supported by plaque by the work, with any company, personal or brand names. There are approximately 10,000 influential creative and affluent visitors to the exhibition. 

The exhibition is in May and I would be looking to secure funding by April.

To create this project will mean the world to me and will also hopefully get me noticed and kick start my future as an artist, whilst also sticking two fingers up to this nonsensical law.
