Mother’s Day Mission

Mother’s Day is two weeks away and
we want to try and give the women in our local domestic abuse women’s shelter a sweet Mother’s Day!
Mission: Bella Day and The Paisley Heart are personally raising money so we can make Mother’s Day gift bags filled with goodies to give to the 28 women currently residing in the shelter. Our goal is to put at least $25 of goodies in each bag! We want to help these women feel loved, remembered, and valued this Mother’s Day.
An idea was presented to us a few days ago- There are women in EVERY community in shelters whose lives are hard and broken- and this Mother’s Day they are unlikely to be honored or remembered. And that thought broke our hearts. So we wanted to do something!
Let’s DO something! We cannot solve their problems, nor can we help every woman in every shelter. But we can help our local shelter. So we decided to find out how many women are in our local shelter and create a plan where each women could receive a real gift and reminder that they are special.
