Over the last few years, our friend Marie has been building her small business, Hapunan Shack with her mom. They specialize in hand-rolled lumpia, and have been serving it up to lines of folks down on Van Horn.
Last night, the generator for the trailer caught fire, and EXPLODED while they were working a street fair Downtown. Other than some nasty burns, everyone was okay, but the generator is toast.
That's where we come in.
She and her family have been working extra hard to make this business go, and the loss of such a big piece of equipment is devastating, especially for a small business. We priced out a few generators, and we think $800 is going to be the least she can spend--so lets give her a hand up, and get her cooking again.
