I have been overwhelmed by the response to the posts about my super hero Bryce. I have received messages from people all over the place about how he has inspired them and asking how they can help. You see my hero Bryce has been struggling with an infection for the last few months and it has meant that his heart is not as strong as it used to be and Bryce is now palliative. This means that after 15 years of fighting Bryce will soon lose that fight. The last few months has meant that his amazing family has had to come to terms with a time soon when they will have to say goodbye to their gorgeous boy, a remarkable human being who brings the most incredible joy to them every single day. Watching Bryce grow and fight like he has touches everybody that meets him. Bryce’s family and friends would like to say a huge thank you for your contribution to his amazing BBQ. I know that we sometimes get overwhelmed by the misery and hurt in the world but I also know that every single day when I see Bryce and his smile, I am reminded that amongst the pain and suffering is a beautiful soul who has already left his mark on my world and the world of so many. Amongst the sadness we can choose to celebrate the gift we all have in simply knowing Bryce.
