WHO ARE WE
Formula Trinity is a not-for-profit formula student team in Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. Coupling hard-work, dedication and passion with a diverse range of skills and experiences, we are determined to become a successful competitor and to represent Irish engineering and motorsport. The team is entirely composed of undergraduates who volunteer their time outside of college hours. We are student run and student led.

WHAT WE DO
Formula Student (FSAE) is an international competition where teams must build a formula style race car. Designing, building and pitching are all part of the game. FSAE provides a real-world experience not available to students in the traditional classroom environment.Formula Trinity members are challenged to think creatively and to develop practical skills such as project management, teamwork, leadership and business skills. They also get hands on experience with industry trades such as welding, machining, 3D modeling, and other manufacturing processes. The opportunity to be involved in FSAE allows for students to gain a competitive edge and become some of the most highly pursued graduates within their field of study.

Despite being our first year in the competition, our diligence and drive will make us a fierce competitor on the track at Silverstone. We hope to compete in July 2018.

WHAT WE NEED
We need your support to help us reach this year's 2018 Formula Student Competition. Building a successful race car and competing at events takes a lot of financial and material support. Being a group composed of university students, we simply do not possess the resources required. Supporting the team would empower us to put our ideas and aptitude for hard work into practice.

A project of this scale can’t be achieved without a community, without funds and without hope. Having supporters just shows that what we are doing is the right thing. Backers are crucial, and with your support, together we can encourage the engineers and leaders of tomorrow.

It is paramont to attend the competition this year in order to give our members exposure to the FSAE community and receive first hand feedback in order to critique our design, organisation and plans.

WHEN DO WE NEED IT
For 2018, we intend to compete in Class 2 as it is our first year. In Class 2, our Design, our Cost & Sustainability and our Business Case are judged against all other competing teams.

For this year, the competition runs from 11-15 July,  and we need to raise the necessary funds to pay for Team Kit, flights, Accommodation, Logistics and Marketing Materials to compete in this year's event by early May 2018.

Thank you for reading! For more information, check out our website, or like us on Facebook and follow us on Instagram and LinkedIn

T-shirts, bumper stickers and caps will be delivered on September - October.
