I will be presenting at a national conference on the topic of foreskin restoration. The title of my presentation is: “Foreskin Restoration: Out of the Shadows and into the Light of Day.”
This conference (www.mensstudies.org/?page_id=941), which will focus on Men's Studies, with a particular emphasis on “Bodies, Sexualities, and Masculinities" is the perfect venue to help spread awareness of the history, process and benefits of foreskin restoration.
The presentation will also highlight gaps in our scientific understanding of the process (i.e., What methods work best? Are purported increases in sensitivity quantifiable?) and will postulate the following to the medical community and to society at large:

Some circumcised men experience a feeling loss and have the innate desire to be “whole” again.
Since individuals who have experienced anatomical losses resulting from more familiar causes (i.e., radical surgeries and horrible accidents) are unequivocally and unconditionally referred to as being brave as they struggle with these more obvious impacts on their body image, are not these men who have experienced a more intimate loss (in most cases imposed upon them), and who struggle in private, equally deserving of support and recognition? Are they too not brave as they struggle to overcome the emotional and physical impacts on their body image?
An undeniable need for recognition: What do you call a man who has undergone foreskin restoration? "Uncircumcised"? "Restored"? How about just BRAVE?

I have started this GoFundMe campaign in an effort to help cover some aspects of attendance at this meeting (meeting registration fee and airfare) so I can help spread awareness of the need to include these men in future discussions of Men's Studies and Men's Health.
