For Xiuhtecuhtli’s Health
Donation protected
Xiuhtecuhtli Kuauhtzin Santin Kehewin is 13 years old, the oldest son of his mother Ambie who is from the Kehewin Cree Nation in Alberta, Canada and his father Coyotl, a Mexican native who is always looking after his community and family.
Last year, Xiuhtecuhtli, or Xiuhte as his family calls him, had a very complicated surgery to remove a tumor in his left lung, that made his organ perfrom at 10% of its capacity. Recovery from surgery was very hard, but as the strong boy he tried very hard to feel better. A year after his surgery he and his family traveled to Coloroado to visit some relatives, and that is when he started feeling bad again. The doctors realized that the tumor was back so he needs to undergo surgery as soon as possible, so he urgently needs to travel back to Canada for this.
Thankfully, since he is a tribal member, all the medical expenses are covered by the Canadian government. However, the travel expenses for the whole family to make the trip back are just too high.
We are kindly asking for any donations that can help this beautiful family in need. We need for Xiuhte, his parents, his brother Ocelot and his two sisters, Ketzalli and Iztli Xóchitl to return together to Canadá for this emergency.
We are strong believers in the power of love and prayers, and we remain positive that Xiuhte will be once again the healthy and happy kid who he always has been
