Melissa Gomez was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis about 20 years ago and slowly, it has robbed her of her ability to live the life she once had. She was an independent single parent for many years. She worked full time, bought a house, supported and raised her children all on her own. Now, she is dependent on others for basic tasks that we all take for granted.
Currently, Melissa Gomez is in home hospice and her family has been asked to make funeral arrangements. Every day that Melissa spends with her family is a blessing. Her strong will to live has enabled her to surpass the 6 months that she was given to live. What keeps her going is her love for her children, Damian, age 24, and Emily, age 13. Melissa does not have life insurance so we are asking her friends and family to help contribute any funds towards funeral expenses. Thank you and God bless you!
