For services rendered , 'The Lough'
Donation protected
Since the first reports of sick Carp showing in 'The Lough' Co Cork,
Freshwater and marine biologist Bill Brazier has been on the scene every day observing , reporting and trying to find out what went wrong.
Between organising tests and keeping everyone informed he hasn't been off the phone! not to mention sending information to the papers and giving radio interviews. He did this all off his own bat and for the love of the place.
It now looks like we have lost almost all of the Carp to CEV ' sleepy koi disease'. This is a massive loss to the Carp fishing scene here in Ireland. It will need restocking and some work done to improve water quality in the near future. No doubt Bill will be heavily involved in working on planning, funding etc.
I feel its only right that us Anglers should do our bit to help him out toward his travel expenses over the last week or two.
Any donation is welcome no matter how small.
