For our family friend chemotherapy

In our daily lives, we fail and we learn, we fall and we stand up, we cry and we laugh, but when we look into other people, do we really know their story? Are they happy or sad? Is it necessary to know this? That might be a big reason to start getting to know them.

First of all, this fund raising is not for myself. I have never done this before, but I think this might be a good time to do it for a person who’s in need.

My family and I were very close into this person. We have known him as a neighbor at year ‘97 in the Philippines. Geez! Long time ago! Him and my family became a good friends, until we considered him as a family member. He was a “kuya” (an older brother) to me. Everybody calls him Raul Sahagun (his real name), but he is known alias Sugus.

Kuya Raul is a type of person that you wouldn’t think as you see him at the first time. That means, very friendly, kind, respectful, and a nice person. Why I am saying this? Because that’s what I know about him.

A couple of months ago, I was told by my brother that Kuya Raul got hospitalized. He was diagnosed with a malignant tumor thru his air passage which made him difficult to breath. He underwent a surgery, and now he’s going to have a chemotherapy in order to help him on his recovery. His chemotherapy will cost 10,000 Philippine peso each session, and so far, he needs to have 33 sessions, 3 times a day.

Now, family, friends, and whoever you are. I am asking your kindness to help me to earn a small amount to be given to our family friend who’s in need for his chemotherapy. Any amount will do, and so as prayer too. Thank you so much and God bless all of you.
