For Jon Jon

Donation protected
As some of you know, Jonathan was born with a rare gene disorder-Generalized SCN8A mutation. More than 100 mutations in the SCN8A gene have been found to cause SCN8A-related epilepsy with encephalopathy. This condition is characterized by recurrent seizures (epilepsy), abnormal brain function (encephalopathy), and intellectual disability. The signs and symptoms of this condition typically begin in infancy.

Jon Jon  experienced his first seizure when he was only six days old. He has had to endure more seizures than you could possibly imagine, a tremendous amount of hospitalizations and never-ending changes in medications. He has been at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, where he is currently on life support. His family needs as much support as they can get right now.

For anyone who doesn't personally know Jill/Jon "Baehr", they are the kindest most giving people around. Always willing to give a hand and help their friends out. With everything they have been through, they will never ask for help-right now they need all the help they can get. Jill/Jon have not been able to work since Jon Jon was admitted to the hospital.

Jill and Baehr cannot make this journey alone; therefore, we are asking for your help. The financial burden has been staggering. All contributions are deeply appreciated by Jon Jon and his family.
