For Duvraska: Breast Cancer Surgery and Recovery

Duvraska is a loving and caring mother, sister, and daughter. Her smile, cheer, and laughter is contagious everywhere she goes. She has always been right there for me whenever I needed her without hesitation. Throughout all of my life, I’ve seen her devote her heart and soul to her work and family. Duvraska (nicknamed Duvi by friends and family) has always been a fighter. Sometimes I even think she works too hard because she doesn’t leave enough time in the day for herself to relax. She’s always putting me first and her sacrifices have gotten us to where we are today. For the last 10 years, my mom has been battling with Multiple Sclerosis. MS is a condition that disrupts the patient's central nervous system and affects the flow of information from the brain to the rest of the body. Now, Duvraska and her family is faced with another challenge to beat.
Unfortunately, with this recent diagnosis of breast cancer, the circumstances have changed. As of right now, the gravity of the tumor will not require her to go into chemotherapy, but she will need various surgeries to eliminate the cancer before it gets any bigger. These surgeries are scheduled to start in about a week and end around March. As a single mother, my mom is the only source of income in our household and the cost of the surgeries and treatment is only a part of the problem. My mom won’t be able to work for weeks after a surgery because she needs to rest and recover. That’s why I decided to start this campaign in order to compensate for the weeks (maybe months) that she won’t be receiving a paycheck but will still be expected to pay for medical bills,  house expenses, food, etc.
Cancer doesn’t have to be all bad news though. Which is why I am simply asking for any, and I mean any sort of support while we’re on this journey. We are open to any sort of aid. I just want to make my mom’s road to recovery easier for her like she’s made my life easier through her hard work. If we can raise enough money to cover her expenses, that’ll be one less thing she has to worry about. I’m not demanding money from anyone here, (although if you’re still here, then you must be interested in this cause and I really can’t thank you enough for at least reading this far). Nevertheless, I know that everyone has very busy lives and their own worries and maybe some people just can’t afford donating right now, but please spread the word.  I am just asking for something as simple as sharing this page/link with your friends and family because that’s enough for me and I am sure my mom, Duvraska, would be very grateful as well...Thank you for taking this time out of your day.
