For Dana's Cancer Treatment

My wonderful husband, Dana, began having stomach problems about 6 months ago. When the problems got worse a couple of months ago, he went to the doctor and they discovered that he has colon cancer.  As we discussed our next steps, and more tests were completed, it was also discovered that the cancer has spread in to his liver. Stage 4 Colon Cancer is scary to hear.

Dana has started  his chemotherapy and will have to undergo surgery to remove parts of his colon and liver. We are hopeful that before the surgery the chemo will shrink the tumor in his liver, so they will not have to remove as much. After his recovery from surgery, he will need 8 more rounds of chemotherapy. With all of this completed, the doctors do believe that  they will be able to remove all of the cancer!

Medical bills have already started to arrive as this process moves very quickly (which we are grateful for), but this has started to drain our finances. With your help, we hope to be able cover some of his medical bills. Currently, he will have 4 rounds of chemotherapy, then his surgery with 5 to 7 days in the hospital, and more chemotherapy. We also need help with travel expenses, help with our pets while we are away and any other expenses we may not be aware of yet.
