For Ariel's Medical Bills for Endo Surgery
Donation protected
In 2 days, March 29, 2019. I am scheduled to have surgery to excise Endometriosis and remove uterine fibroids, and ovarian cysts (see below for full story) We will know more after my surgery.
I need to pay for 10% of my surgery upfront or they will reschedule. This can be anywhere from $2K or $10K I have no idea yet. If its more than $500 I can't personally afford the surgery.
First and foremost - my condition is ruining my life. I can't afford not to have it.
Please donate: whatever amount you donate will ensure that my surgery happens before my next menstrual cycle.

So this is personal, but if you have a vagina or love someone with one, read on...
I did not know my period was abnormal until recently as I was searching for a place to vomit, at 10:30a.m. on a Monday morning. My period came for a second time, for a total of 18 high bleed days. My coworker (hi Jas) encouraged me to go to a doctor.*
I thought my inability to cope with my period pain was a reflection of an inherent weakness, and a low pain tolerance. Translation, I thought I was the problem and not my periods.
1. Intense PMS and pain before bleeding
2. High Bleed Days (where staying near a toilet is preferred and required)
3. 9 day bleeds
4. Cramping so severe, I need to pull my car over if I'm driving.
ARE NOT NORMAL PERIOD SYMPTOMS.
*Always go for a second opinion.
My doctor pushed hormonal birth control on me, but a trusted family friend reviewed my case and encouraged me to request more testing. (Fight for your Medical Rights Ya'll..... you have a right to ETHICAL MEDICAL CARE) The tech asked me if I had heard of Endometriosis, I hadn't. I sent my friend the results, he referred me for a surgical consult. Here I am:
Here’s my realty:
I have a secure job,
I enjoy my work,
and my commute,
and I’ve become disabled.
Please donate: whatever amount you donate will ensure that my surgery happens before my next menstrual cycle.
