For Alyx Simmons: A Future for Sonny & Jack

It is with absolute devastation and broken hearts to announce the passing of Alyx Simmons, our beloved sister, daughter, cousin, friend, and mother to two wonderful boys, Sonny and Jack.
Because of these difficult circumstances that we find ourselves in, we are raising funds that will go toward a trust fund for Alyx's boys that will be a great resource of support for them now and in the coming years.

Alyx Keri Simmons, born May, 5 1991, who will be remembered for her vibrant and affectionate soul, lost her battle with mental illness and addiction and died by suicide on November 25, 2019 at the age of 28 years old.
As a Utah native and wild child, Alyx cultivated a passion for the outdoors and loved everything from skiing, rock climbing, riding motorcycles in the mountains, exploring Lake Powell, competing in Lacrosse and longboarding down Provo Canyon.
Alyx had a soft spot for everyone who crossed her path and had the ability to love those in her life deeply and unconditionally. She loved making others feel beautiful and showing them their worth. Along with these talents, Alyx had a love of laughter and thrived when she made those around her happy (especially her boys). She loved to buck the system and remind everyone just how comical and absurd life is.
She had a life-long love affair with creamed corn and Wendy’s JBC’s, took fashion cues from no one, and was setting trends by the second grade. She had always taken extreme pride in her family, most especially her two boys, who are her sun, her moon, and her stars, Sonny Ray Minchey & Jack Rain Nussman.
In addition to her boys, she is remembered by her Mother & Step-Father, Pam & Mat Gover, her Father, Dave Simmons, Sister, Aerin Simmons, Brother, Trey Simmons (Breanne), the yin to her yang, Kelani Daily, Grandfather, Ken W. Noland (Shauna), Grandmother, MarRue Simmons (Brent), her nephews & many, many loving Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends, all of whom she loved and cared for deeply.
Alyx is preceded in death by her Grandfather Boyd K. Simmons, cousin Spencer Noorlander, and Grandmother Judy Noland, who’s got this.
