For 40 years the Food Pantry at St Gabriel has been serving the hungry of Lake County, Ohio. It is the only full time food pantry in the Lake County area and serves over 19,000 meals per month.

Services have expanded from simple distribution of nonperishable food items to also include mobile pantry summer produce distribution, special senior food boxes, as well as being a resource center to inform and counsel on other support services available in our county. All services are provided by 100% volunteers.  To continue to serve these growing needs, we need your help to expand our very small facility to grow our space  and better serve the need for food resources in Lake County!

The Foodbank has really helped me. I am a single mom that struggles making ends meet, like many. They are wonderful. I am very glad that they are here. I am very pleased and thankful.

Without the St. Gabriel Food pantry helping us out every month, there is no way we could afford to eat and stay healthy. St. Gabriel and all the volunteers there really are LIFESAVERS!

Please join us by supporting our project to expand our Food Pantry. The estimated cost of just the frame of the expansion is $35,000. We have received a grant to subsidize $10,000 of the expansion and still need more help to pay for the construction. Every gift, large or small helps us achieve our goal of $25,000!
