food for rescue dogs in Spain

5 years ago I started to live and work in the south of Spain. When I was invited to peer for a barbecue at his home he showed me the dog he was caring for. It was a breed I have not have heard before - a galgo epanol, which is a Spanish Greyhound.
These dogs are used for rabbit hunting by the so called galgueros which means hunters.
They spend their lives in damp, tiny, dirty holes or windowless shacks deprived of daylight, exercise and affection. They are typically fed only water and stale bread. At the end of the hunting season, countless are disposed of or abandoned.
At the end of the hunting season in Spain, the galgos deemed worthless or too costly to maintain are destroyed in a variety of inhumane ways — including being hanged, dumped into abandoned wells, shot, and even burned to death. The galgo which was with my friend had been cut off both ears because he had his registration number in his ears - so you can`t identify the previous owner.
The lucky ones are rescued by a handful of shelters in Spain, operated by dedicated individuals. Almost all of the resources to help the dogs come from outside of Spain, namely the US, UK, Belgium, Denmark, France, Holland and Germany.
My wife and me decided to adopt one of those poor dogs, her name is Kuki, and we have her now at our home. These dogs are adorable family dogs, calm and very grateful.
I want to use the funding to help out Galgos en Familia to be able to buy food, build shelters and fund veterenary services.
Recently there has been crowdfunded a video
which should make people in the world aware of this situation.
I would be very glad if you could help out Vera and her Team by funding for my campaign.
