Food Trailer For Paradise! ~ Gabriellas Eatery ~

Hello Paradise/Magalia Community! We are raising funds to move into a food trailer so we can continue to serve the ridge. Please read our story and help us reach our goal and our dream. We hope to open as soon as possible so we can start feeding those that are rebuilding and staying in the area.
Our Story:
We had just opened Gabriellas Eatery in March 2018, and it was becoming quite the popular spot. With our Grand opening in May and our Ribbon Cutting Event just before the Fire on Oct. 25th. We had made the paper twice, with Doug LaMalfa even surprising us on the Ribbon Cutting day! We got called "Best sandwich on the Ridge" for a good reason. We had the best Hot pastramis and Reubens in town. We had an assortment of Paninis and cold sandwiches to choose from, along with soup, salad and lots of snacks. We also served local beers, wines and ciders. Staying local with our food choices was also something we liked to do. We also featured local artwork inside. Breakfast and coffee was served all day, and there was free pool for anyone to come play. Kid and pet friendly, we loved seeing our community come in for a bite. We even delivered and had a drive thru!
My partner and I had decided we wanted to build something together that we both really loved. It had always been our dream to run our own little shop, and where better than our hometown. I was born and raised in Paradise, and my partner in Chico. We decided FOOD because well, everyone loves food, including us! The opportunity presented itself to us and we took it! It was a rough start at the beginning, we put a lot of work into our building to get it to look nice, and we put a lot of love into the food we made. We worked long hours to get the shop the way we wanted and we worked hard to get where we got. Business had finally started to pick up, and we were meeting all of our neighbors which was fun. Customers started coming back for more, we ended up adding more menu items and extending our hours. Things were looking great and we were getting more involved in our community.
After the Fire on Nov. 8th, just like many others, we ended up losing 3 family homes we had in Paradise, as well as the business that my family had. We dont want it to all end here though. That is NOT our story. We will rise like the Pheonix! Up from the ashes we will grow the roses of success! We must go onward, and upward.
Our life is beginning to be back to regular, but we still have some steps we need to take. Please help support us, and the community and help bring more FOOD back into Paradise! We want to serve our community again as well as those that are here to help us all rebuild. We are planning to move into a food trailer to continue our dream and be able to stay in our beloved hometown of Paradise. We will continue to be the "Best Sandwich on the Ridge" with our communities support. Thank you for reading our story! We hope to be able to serve you in the very near future!
