The Fonda Freeman Memorial Fund

Fonda Freeman impacted the lives of all who came in contact with her. Her love for Jesus, her wonderful family , church and friends was displayed through her laughter, smiles and wise counsel. She impacted even her Customers she led around the Cowboy town of Bandera Texas and served them with integrity and genuine humility.  Fonda and her sister Felicia were driving the carriage on a beautiful Texas day to deliver some food, diapers and toys she bought for a mother in need. After, they were going to have a picnic and then do what she loved...give tourists and locals a ride around Bandera. But that did not happen. Her carriage was struck by a distracted driver. Fonda died on site along with her horse Eli. Felicia was air lifted to a hospital. But her legacy lives on in everyone she touched. Her Sister Felicia, (who is mentally disabled) was also involved in this tradgic accident and has suffered a laceraced liver,multiple fractures in her face and broken bones. She is expected to be hospitalized up to a month. Yet, Felicia is in good spirits and recovering. Fonda being her only care giver has instilled in Felicia to be content in all situations and make the best of life. Fonda is survived by her children Zach and Amber. The care taking now falls to Zach. A fine young man who is 18 and married to Haylee and is working at a local feed store in Pipe Creek. Insurance in no way will cover the hospital costs, loss of property , time off work and provide for life long care that Felicia needs and Zach and Haylee must now lovingly provide.  So it is with only your kind contributions can we see a way to turn what bad has happened into good.
