Floyd and Shan Williams Fund

Please meet Floyd & Shan Williams

These two people I have known for many years, and Shan has been one of my best friends since school days.
So a little about them both is they are both givers, helpers, and have truly gave their last dollar to help others in need while they do without. I have known them to both help so many of their friends and family.
Floyd drove a wrecker (tow truck) for 40+ years for Billy Craig wrecker service until earlier this year when his health stopped him from doing what he truly loves and lives for, helping those in need. Floyd also has been a volunteer firefighter for 30+ years and has selflessly given to to many departments and citizens. As you see, Floyd has truly helped literally thousands upon thousands in need and during some of the worst times of their lives.
Shan has also been a volunteer firefighter giving her time freely. Shan also runs a page called “Titus County Scanner” where she has reached out on her own time and money to help ones in need when they have had an accident, a home lost to fire, or just because they were going thru a rough time. Shan has done this for seven years keeping our community informed, going out live chasing severe weather to keep Titus County informed. Up until recently she done this all on her own money and time. Shan is now still providing news and weather when she can but she is also working as a 911 dispatcher.
Floyd’s health took a turn last year and he had to have a defibrillator/pacemaker combo put in that has saved his life numerous times. Floyd has vtach and major heart rhythm problems. Floyd has undergone numerous procedure and surgeries over the last two years from cardiac ablation, bypass, stents, and more. As many of you know this has cost lots of money. Even with insurance Floyd and Shan had to use every bit of their savings they had so when Floyd was forced to stop working recently this cut out one of their main incomes.
Floyd nor Shan will personally ask anyone for help as they are helpers. Sadly, they are in a huge bind financially. Their rent is behind and they do not have the money up front to move into a new location. They have until June 30, 2018 to catch things up or they will be without a home. Since Shan works in Titus County they have to stay close. We have have all looked and rent is no cheaper anywhere else.
Not many know but Shan lost both of her parents and both sets of grandparents at a very young age. The last to pass away was her amazing mother and this happened when Shan was 28. So she has no family to ask for help from unfortunately.
So, this is where I felt as someone who truly loves and cares for them both, and knowing all they both have done for this community for so many years, I decided to start this godundme.
Please keep them in your prayers and if you can spare just a small amount, everything helps. I can promise they will Be forever grateful to each of you. As I said above, they will not ask for help so let’s all pull together and help them out and show them it’s okay to ask for help.
Thank you for your time
God Bless y'all!
