Hello everybody!
I am a fourth-year
Art student at New Mexico State University and this semester I have the opportunity to travel to Kassel, Germany and Venice, Italy for a school trip to see two of the biggest art events in the world: Documenta 14 and the Venice Biennale.
About half the trip will be covered by my financial aid and student loans but I would be paying out of pocket for my plane ticket, which is well beyond my ability alone. I currently work part-time on campus, but it doesn't pay very well at about 7.50 an hour with 20 hours a week which doesn't allow for much of a savings.
This trip is a great opportunity for me and would really benefit my future studies. I have never traveled far from home and I've never had such an opportunity to be immersed in the world of Art in such a way, and will probably never have one like this.
I am asking for donations to cover as much of these expenses as is possible and anything would help. I will also be selling artworks for those who are interested and are able to buy and I'll be sending prints of artworks of differing sizes to those who donat $20 and up and would be willing to provide commsion paintings at prizes starting at $100.
I posted some images on the bottom of some of the works which are available for prints. Please check my updates for more images. All artwork is available as a print, but not all work is available in original form.
