Flight for Bhuwan!

UPDATE!!!!

Bhuwan has arrived and reunited with his family in Khandbari, Nepal.  The feeling of reuniting with family after being far away is hard to describe!  We were able to raise a great amount in support of him, however, we are still short on our goal.  Any little bit helps as we work to support Bhuwan in this journey!

Who is this awesome guy, Bhuwan Shrestha?
Bhuwan is a Nepali man living and volunteering far from home.  He is from Khandbari; a village in the beautiful and mountainous district of Sankawasaba, Nepal.  Currently Bhuwan is living in Evergreen, Colorado in the home of Frank and Meghan Phillips.  

What can you do to help Bhuwan?
This Gofundme is designed with one single purpose in mind.  We are raising money to pay the purchase cost of the airfare required to send Bhuwan to Khandbari and back.  This requires several flight times and transitions and we need your support!


What is Bhuwan working on?
Bhuwan is in the process of a year-long training that will provide him with an American Montessori Society credential in Early Childhood.  The training, offered at The Montessori Education Center of the Rockies,  is a rigorous, impactful, and life changing journey.

At the end of the year Bhuwan will have the opportunity to apply the wisdom he has gained to implement in the Montessori classrooms of Surya School in Khandbari, Nepal.  Surya School currently has 55 students enrolled in 3 Montessori inspired classrooms created by the vision of founder Narayan Shrestha, Helping Hands Health Education volunteers, and the hard work of Montessori volunteer teachers.   

Eight Montessori middle school students will be going to Nepal in November to further the work at Surya School and partake in a cultural exchange!  Bhuwan will be there to assist!
