Flannery Kidds' Kids Disney Trip

Let's help make Jennifer and her twin granddaughters have the trip of a lifetime! April and Emily both suffer from MR/CP diagnosis, severe developmental delays and scoliosis.  April's is more severe in all aspects. April underwent expandable rod surgery a few years ago but developed MRSA. After 3 months in St. John's Hospital and aggressive treatment and opening/closing of incisions in her back to remove the infection, the rod had to be removed. She will have a bone fusion procedure done next year to try and help her 70 plus degree curve.  With her degree so significant it is starting to create complications with internal organs. She is unable to walk or talk and is dependent on someone for all her daily needs. She ranges mentally from 6 months old to 3 years. She is a very happy kid and her laugh is infectious. Emily has the same conditions just not as severe. Her curve has been maintaining for now. She has a small vocabulary but it grows daily. She is delayed in other aspects but several tests have been done and nothing to pinpoint why she is how she is.

These wonderful twin girls were selected to go on Kidd's Kids Trip to Disney World November 15-19th. This is a trip for special needs children who otherwise would not ever be able to do this in the future due to medical or financial constraints. While most expenses are paid for there are a few things that are not. The family is in need of personal products and of course food and incidentals while traveling. The grandmother that lovingly cares for the girls works as much as she can to be able to compensate for bills during this time off.  We are asking for donations to make this a once in a lifetime opportunity fun and give this family a chance to spend quality time together.  This trip means a chance to travel that does not end/begin with a doctor poking or prodding.  The family very rarely gets out due to wheelchairs and back braces, they don't even own luggage.  Let's make this a trip for them to all enjoy and remember for years to come.
