The Amapas Neighborhood Association has worked out a deal with Puerto Vallarta's City Hall to repave crumbling Calle Hortensias from highway 200 up to La Cima I with two 1.5 meter-wide grooved cement tracks and cobblestones between.

They will provide labor and equipment, if the neighbors pay for the construction materials and supervision.

Our goal is $200,000 pesos or about $11,400 USD.

We need all neighbors on Hortensias to chip in a fair share or the project cannot happen.

Today was our goal to reach the minimum of $200,000 pesos (about $11,400 USD) to repave Calle Hortensias in Amapas with new concrete tracks from the Highway entrance to La Cima.

Thanks to the generous support of neighbors on Calles Hortensias and Gardenias we have exceeded that minimum! Construction projects always have contingencies, so any additional fund will allow us to address them and to otherwise add to the area we are able to fix. So please check the donors and tell your other neighbors to contribute as the fund is still open.

Working with the City's Obras Publicas, we expect to have a final budget for the project next week, with the city contributing equipment and labor, and the ANA providing materials, supervision and design input. We are very pleased with our successful working relationship with the current government of Puerto Vallarta and look forward to a successful project starting soon!

ANA is proud to announce that we have received pledges for about 70% of the project cost.

Please pass this along to your Hortensias and Gardenias Neighbors so we can start the project as soon as possible.
