First Chair Theatre Company is a new regional theatre company based in Camarillo, CA. Our vision at FCTC is to provide high quality musical theatre productions with live music, excellent talent and a welcoming environment always provided to our patrons.
Why does First Chair exist?
One of our goals at First Chair Theatre Company is to provide opportunities for new and aspiring actors, directors, and playwrights to showcase their talent and perform their craft in front of a supportive audience.
Everyone has to start somewhere, and we feel that casting a diverse array of talent will only make our company stronger as we present stories through the interpretations of people who love theatre arts.
What will my donation go towards?
Please consider becoming our partner in bringing our vision to light by your donation. Donation funds collected will go towards purchasing costumes, staging props, licensing fees, live instrumentalists, and miscellaneous production costs that are involved with every production. Long term, we hope to lease our own venue space for First Chair Theatre Company to call home.
For donations $5 and above, your name or organization will appear on our "With Gratitude" page in our production program, if you so choose.
As the arts and its corresponding budgets are being downsized or even cut completely within schools and other institutions, every dollar counts and we at First Chair Theatre Company thank you for your consideration in becoming one of our very first partners in this journey to tell amazing stories the best way we know how - with enthusiasm, dedication, hard work, talent, and imagination!
