Fire Victims Greece- Gate 7 Ontario

This week's catastrophic fires in the Greater Athens Area has laid claim to the lives of dozens of men, women and children. Furthermore, it has injured hundreds and destroyed the homes and livelihoods of many.

Gate 7 Ontario is raising money to send to the aid of the victims. All donation proceeds will be sent to purchase food, water, clothes, etc.

We are Gate 7 Ontario, a group of friends residing throughout Ontario that gather to support our team, Olympiakos (soccer, basketball, etc.,). Our members are ethnically Greek, either by birth or background. Our members have friendships and relationships with other Gate 7 groups, throughout Greece, but especially in Athens or the Greater Athens Area (GAA). The funds will be converted to euros on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, and hand delivered by one of our members in Greece on Thursday, August 2, 2018, to one of the organizers of Gate 7 Pireaus. The funds will be used by Gate 7 volunteers (onsite in the effected areas) to provide food, water for the victims and assist in cleanup efforts in the affected communities.
