Fire to Fork: Fire Fighter Cookbook

The link between fire fighters and food is undeniable. In partnership with EAT Magazine, the Fire Fighters' Charitable Foundation has capitalized on that link and create a locally-focused cook book for the purpose of generating funds for BC Professional Fire Fighters Burn Fund while highlighting food-culture in Greater Victoria. The book will be on shelves in late spring of 2017. 

The Fire Fighters’ Charitable Fountation cook book is a community-focused fundraising project that offers an amazing collection of healthy, affordable, family-focused, and easy to prepare recipes for sale to the public in book form. The purpose of this fund raising initiative is to support the continued work of the Fire Fighters’ Charitable Association. 

All money collected will go directly the funding the printing of Fire to Fork. As a sign of appreciation, donors will receive one copy of Fire to Fork for every $20 donated. This represents a savings of 30% off the cover price!!! 

Partnerships were developed with over 50 local chefs, celebrities, restaurant owners, food/drink producers and suppliers, and food culture experts in order that their knowledge, skills and abilities may be utilized to realize project success. To the greatest extent possible, locally sourced food has been used in the recipes 

All proceeds generated from this project will go to the BC Professional Fire Fighters Burn Fund.
