On of our greatest fears happened, how many of us worry about having a fire destroy our house or take one of our family members. thank God that Murray and his family were spared. All the material things can be replaced. Murrays family has a uphill battle right now, just looking for someplace to stay, clothes, food, and navigating their lives back to something normal.
Murray, his family and friend suffered a devastating loss December 18, 2018. We are so grateful that everyone is alive and that Murray was saved by his friend Bob Netowaysin. Murray ran back into the house thinking that 2 of his children were still in there, which was not the case, all family members were saved. Unfortunately Murray suffered 2nd degree burns to both hands and collapsed as a result of smoke inhalation. Bob must have superman strength (Murray is a big man) as he dragged Murray out of the house and saved his life, a true Hero.
Murray was keeping a secret from his family. He had a stash of cash. He was busy beading and selling lanyards to raise money to provide his family with Christmas presents. He also taught his friend Bob to bead and make lanyards. all his work went up in smoke.
They were left with the clothes on their back, and nothing else but the most important thing, they never lost their lives. So grateful for that. They need some help to kickstart their lives and wait for Murray to go thorough rehab for his burns and scorched lungs.
