Finlay's Great North Run For Dogs Trust

Tax deductible
Hello everyone,

I made the decision earlier this year to take part in the Great North Run to raise money for Dogs Trust.

Dogs Trust is a wonderful British animal welfare charity and humane society which specialises in the well-being of dogs. It is by far the largest dog welfare charity in the UK and cares for over 15,000 animals each and every year through a network of 20 rehoming centres. The organisation have been actively involved with every piece of legislation affecting dogs over the past 126 years but they rely on generous donations from members of the public to help them continue to carry out their fantastic work.

The charity have taken part in Campaigns against the docking of tails and have raised awareness surrounding "puppy farming", providing advice on where the public can safely go to buy a cruelty free dog.

Their overall mission is to bring about the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction.

I've never taken part in a half-marathon before, so this is a first for me! Over the last couple of months I've been training hard so I'm aiming for a good overall finishing time and would appreciate any donations that you could spare.

Please donate whatever you can, no matter how little or large the amount, and remember to Giftaid it too (this doesn't cost you anything extra).

Thank you for taking the time to visit my gofundme page and here's hoping I survive the 13.1 miles!
