Fund for Murray - Medical Expenses & Search Costs

On Fri, 10/5, in NE DC, a man assaulted me, pulled Murray's collar off & chased him away from me. After 2 days of help from amazing volunteers & donors, we found him and he was reunited with my friends I was watching him for!

While Murray was lost, he was hit by a car. So there are significant expenses associated with his medical treatment- likely in the neighborhood of $5,500. Plus the cost of the search (flyer printing, scent tracker dog, etc.) added up to $1,065.27.  So the entire ordeal will likely end up costing more than $6,500.

Friendship Hospital for Animals has offered to cover the first $2,000 of his treatment expenses out of its Brudder Sullivan Fund! But we don't want to completely deplete the fund-- we want other pets to benefit from it!

Will you please help us cover Murray's expenses?  Anyone who has met him would tell you that he's suuuuuuch a sweet dog!

Any extra funds generated will be split between the Brudder Sullivan Fund and Homeward Trails Animal Rescue, the organization that Murray was adopted through (and also the group that provided many of the search volunteers).
