Financing pathways out of poverty
Tax deductible
The Capital Good Fund (CGF) is a non-profit, certified Community Development Financial Institution that takes a holistic approach to fighting poverty. Our mission is to provide equitable financial services that create pathways out of poverty.
CGF offers small personal loans, as well as financial and health coaching to families in Rhode Island, Florida and Delaware.
Meet, for example, Adeyinka Areago, who had a passion for writing and impacting lives, but had no formal training or experience in publishing. Through CGF's business and financial coaching and after a small loan to cover startup costs, Adeyinka managed to publish a magazine, "His Presence Magazine", which helped her finance a book ("The Battle for the EPHOD") and gain financial independence. She is currently working on three more books, each speaking to the struggles various groups of people face.
