Final Mile - Jack Winter's Punch Cancer Fund

Back in 2017 we started a fund to help Jack Winter and his parents BJ and Rebecca get through a difficult time after Jack got diagnosed with Leukemia. We were able to raise over 20K and beat our goal thanks to the generosity of the friends and family. 

Here's the thing with cancer though, there is always a big push at the very beginning for families, but the family is in it for the long haul. During those years there are many missed days of work for doctors appointments and emergencies and the extra funds that were set aside get drained.

As we approach the 3 year mark, Jack can see the finish line but it might be the hardest stretch yet. After years of having to take many days off, it is becoming harder to do so for both BJ and Rebecca. As teachers, the missed time makes it hard for them at work and at home.

We're looking to give them a little bump for the final stretch. We're hoping these funds will give them peace of mind to take any leave time they might need over the next 6 months and have a cushion for expenses like groceries and gas.
