Final Expenses for Mike Stuck

Mike and Renee are one of those adorable couples who fell in love in high school and have stayed deeply in love throughout their 29 year marriage.  They have stayed true to each other through good and bad times.  Sadly, Mike and Renee have been informed that Mike's pancreatic cancer has reached a level where hospice is necessary .  Renee hopes for another two months, but unfortunately Mike may only have two weeks.  Thus they have begun to determine the costs for a funeral.  Like many of us, they had never considered the possibility that life insurance was something they would need until much later in their life together.  Renee has also been unable to work for the past nine months as she needed to be available to take Mike to all of his appointments and treatments.  Beyond that, it has been impossible to focus enough to be productive at work due to the stress and the realization that the time she can spend with the love of her life is ending.

The funds requested will be given directly to Renee to cover the funeral expenses and to provide her with a small financial buffer until she is able to return to work.
