Kempsey Eisteddfod - Fill the Stage

The Kempsey Eisteddfod is a platform for young musicians, dancers and performers to showcase their talents and have experience performing in front of a live audience. 

It has been running for nearly 66 years in the low-socio economic region of Kempsey, with the support of the community - but is in danger of discontinuing like so many other rural programs - don't let Kempsey's performing arts die out!


A small but passionate group of community volunteers, consisting of parents and grandparents of performers, teachers, past performers and the goodwill of the community, has ensured that the Kempsey Eisteddfod survive thus far.

In 2014, due to lack of support the Vocal and Instrumental, and Speech and Drama did not run - breaking a tradition of over 60 years. Please help us to prevent this happening again.


It is essential for upcoming performers to have this experience and it is widely used by schools for skills in debating, music, drama, public speaking, dance and HSC performances.

All money raised in this campaign will be warmly recieved, and go to funding transport for school children to attend the eisteddfod, new trophies, great prizes for participantd, public liability insurance, royalty fees, adjudicator expenses and rental of the performance venues.

Any support, no matter how small will help.

Kempsey Eisteddfod entries close April 8th 2016, and the Eisteddfod runs from June 27th to July 10th.

A reminder that any amount donated will be appreciated!
 
$20 will sponsor a first place cash prize in a section of your choice.

$45 will sponsor an entire section - including trophies and ribbons. You will also be formally acknowledged at the Eisteddfod in the program and on social media and gain free entry to the event!

$120 is the minimum price of renting the venue for a single day - even half of this donated would go a long way for ensuring this invaluable event continues! Your support will be formally recognised by the society in the event program, social media and by certificate!

$300 - Major Sponsor  will be acknowledged with a business card image within the programs of the Eisteddfod. This will assist paying for royalty fees incurred by use of music.

$600 - Gold Sponsor will secure this status which will be acknowledged on the front of all Programs for all sections of the Eisteddfod. Opportunity is also available to display a suitable promotional flag/banner at all sections of the Eisteddfod. This will assist in paying for the public liability insurance essential to ensure the safety of all involved.

$1500 - Platinimum Sponsor will secure prominence in all Eisteddfod programs, the society web site & Facebook page. A promotional banner/flag can also be displayed centrally at all sections of the Eisteddfod. This would cover the cost of an adjudicator for almost three days.
