Nichelle Fighting Hodgkins Lymphoma

Hello my name is Nichelle Freeze and I will not become a statistic. Just last week, December 14, 2016, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. This is a cancer that runs through your white blood cells and compromises your immune system. Never did I think this would ever happen to me. As a registered nurse, I spend most of my time taking care of other people's loved ones and making sure they are nurtured back to health. This time around it's me that needs to be taken care of unfortunately. I will start my chemotherapy and radiation treatments in the following weeks after I have my mediport surgically placed in my chest to prepare to receive my chemotherapy medicine. Little did I know the financial burden is almost impossible without full coverage insurance and the need to take some time off of work. For family, friends, and people I have yet to meet, any donations toward my treatments would be greatly appreciated. Time is shortening, but every day that I challenge this cancer and survive is a victory for me!
