Help us pair "Grizz" to a Veteran in Need.
The Student Veterans of Oakland University (SVOU) are raising money to sponsor a Guardian Angel Service Dog.
The Guardian Angels team works exceptionally hard to ensure that each applicant is carefully considered, each recipient has the tools they need to be successful with their service dog, and each dog is matched to the right recipient. No matter the disability, Guardian Angels strives to assist as many people as we can through the healing power of service dogs. Once paired with one of our service dogs, our recipients report reductions or eliminations of prescription medication under their doctor’s care, as well as an increase in activity, family interaction and improved sleep.
As members of the veteran community, SVOU wants to continue to give back, and we want to sponsor a service dog that will go to a local veteran in need. We are asking for your support to help us save a veterans life.
