Fight to save Madisson's life

Donation protected
It is now reaching a very critical stage for my friend's daughter, little Madisson who is two years old and has been diagnosed with Idiopatic Pulmonary Hemosiderosis. Madisson is a beautiful, little girl from Cebu City in the Philippines and has a very loving mother and father, however she has been through such a struggle in her life early on being in and out of hospitals with her very complex illness. I know the parents of Madisson personally and feel like nothing can be done unless they can raise the funds to pay for Madisson's medical bills... I am doing this on behalf of them but Madisson's mother also wanted me to post her story on her behalf (Most recent update on request of Madi's mother on March 14th 2019 at the bottom of the page):

I am knocking on each of my friends heart or to anyone that can help us get through this challenging part of our lives which involves my 2 year old daughter Madisson Naomi Capocao Jatico and we call her Madi. This started when we first noticed that she was pale and having difficulty with breathing. She looks physically fine. She plays with other kids, no fever, no cough and whatnot except for her skin color. But her first X-Ray test isn't really ok. We've been in the hospital for 10 days just last March 27th up to April 7th 2018. There were several tests like CT Scan, Gene Xpert and Madi's doc did mention about Lung Biopsy if ever the infection is not treated. We were able to breathe for a couple of days after the doctor said that her lungs were already clear based on the last X-Ray result. So the Lung Biopsy procedure was put on hold due to the good news. PhilHealth, DSWD and CHAMP helped a lot. Everything went fine and was scheduled for a follow up consultation 5-7 days after being discharged from the hospital. Madi was still pale after the last consultation. So there was something in her blood which makes her yellowish pale. Took CBC and Hemoglobin was below average. In fact, Hemo count was just 5. We were endorsed to a Hematologist and was advised for Blood Transfusion. It took 3 attempts before we've found an O+ donor that was compatible with our baby's blood. Thanks to those kind-hearted people who didn't mind the hassle that it may cause them. To avoid having a large bill, we took advantage of having the procedure as an out-patient in Cebu Cancer Institute. Blood Transfusion was successful and we are currently waiting for Hemoglobin Electrophoresis test result to determine what type of Anemia Madi has. Somehow, we were again able to breathe for a short time. But just for a short time because just yesterday May 21st 2018 my instinct as a mother tells me something isn't ok with Madi. Aside from having a cough and flu this time, although body temperature was below 37-38 I can really tell her that body was a little warm compared to normal but then we thought it was just an initial body reaction after receiving the new blood. She was uneasy too and just when I thought she was again having a hard time breathing and other people may not notice that. We rushed her to the ER and while we were talking to the resident doc, Madi vomitted fluid with blood and it was a lot. Madi is now currently treated at the hospitals Pedia Ward. Will again undergo CT Scan and scheduled for Lung Biopsy. We are asking for financial help for the Lung Biopsy procedure. We don't ask for large amount, we only ask for enough funds that will help Madi going through this procedure. A lot of people been helping us. Family, friends, colleagues, friends of friend, and even people whom we haven't met yet. All helped us spiritually and financially.

******Most recent update of Madi's condition March 14th 2019******
On March 12th 2019, she almost couldn't breathe all of sudden. Went for blood transfusion again and treating the bleed inside her lungs with steroids and antibiotics. We again still in hospital for ongoing medications. Aside from your financial help, we also ask for your deepest prayers not just for Madi but for those who are critically ill fighting for their lives. We thank you for the Love, Prayers and all kinds of help that you can offer.
