Fight the Cancer! Help Jon beat it!

Jon and Emily have been fighting cancer for a year.  Last September he was diagnosed with Stage 3b Melanoma.  Eight lymph nodes were removed over two surgeries. This has left him with severe lymphedema that can only be relieved by and expensive hospital grade device. 

He and Emily trek to Duke an hour each way, every other week, for his immunotherapy.   Despite the time and cost of the treatment, he has new metastasis and he needs more surgery to excise it and more targeted immunotherapy. 


They need our help.  Between what they already owe for treatment and what they will owe next month, they are in a perilous financial situation.  Jon and Emily both work full time as professors but it is not enough and not everything is covered by their insurance.
