In 2016 my sister JoAnne courageously battled cervical cancer. At 47, she is fighting cancer for the second time in her young life. Diagnosed with lung cancer, she has begun receiving many weeks of radiation and chemotherapy.
JoAnne is the last one to ask for help so I am doing it for her. She works serving others as an EMT. Despite her best efforts to keep working through her treatment, the hazards presented by her job are just too unsafe for her fragile state of health. She is currently hospitalized with pneumonia and has many months of treatment ahead.
On this giving Tuesday and in the spirit of the season, I am asking you to help JoAnne pay her bills as her return to work is in jeopardy. I am hoping that every one that is able to help support her will--as she would do for a stranger.
