Please contribute to a campaign to raise $30,000 to replace funding cut by two school boards in London, ON. The funding will allow local high school students to stage "Prom Queen," a gay-themed musical.
According to CBC article, "For the first time in 20 years, London's two school boards won't be sponsoring the play put on by the Grand Theatre's high school project, CBC News has learned."
The article states that both the Thames Valley School Board and the London District Catholic School Board normally contribute $15,000 each to the annual high school project that promotes students to participate in the production from acting to staging.
This funding cut has left a huge dent in the high school project's $250,000 budget and we're asking you to help make up the difference.
Your contributions will be given to the Grand Theatre to support this production. Anything above the $30,000 target will be donated to Youth Opportunities Unlimited (YOU).
