On October 4th, my cousin Vivien Angeles, was hit by a jeepney (a type of public transportation in the Philippines), and was left in critical condition.
Despite her current conditions, she is undergoing operation, and our hope and prayer is that she will get through surgery without any complications.
Vivien's sister, Rienne, describes the impact of the accident below:
My sister Vivien is still in critical condition after getting hit by a jeepney on October 4th. She has fractured fingers, ribs, clavicle and femur and she has brain trauma.
*She is heavily intubated so she can keep breathing*
During the surgery she lost a lot of blood and is now very unstable. At the moment what will keep her alive is the continuous replenishment of blood.
Please continue to storm the heavens for my sister.

My cousin Vivien is a light-hearted, kind and genuine soul. She is intelligent, hardworking and gritty. But among the many wonderful things I can say about Vivien, here's something I know to be true: she is a fighter.
With the impact of the jeepney on her body, doctors have stated patients that experienced Vivien's trauma usually do not survive. But as of October 5th, Vivien, miraculously woke up and was able to communicate, and even joke around with her family, even for a short while before her major operation. She is fighting to live.
We come to you with a great need. The cost of restoring Vivien to health is projected to be $20,000 or 1 Million PHP.
To show love and support to their family in this difficult time, we encourage you to raise support towards relieving them of the medical costs of keeping Vivien alive and stable.
