Ashley was a hard working High School Student who has achieved success as a artist on a local and national level. From being Georgia's GHP winner for Theatre Design to having her work displayed at Hartsfield International Airport and the High Museum of Art to being published in The United States Achievment Academy Yearbook. She is no stranger to working hard to achieve her goals. In High School she was President for Art Club, Drama Club, International Thespian Society and National Art Honor Society to name a few of her many accomplishments.

She was full of life enjoying her Senior year at Eagles Landing High School and looking forward to going to the College of her dreams as she had recently been accepted to Ithaca College in upstate New York.
However, in March 2017 that all changed when she suddenly had trouble breathing and was taken to the hospital. It was there that we discovered that her body was producing a deadly liquid that was pushing against her lungs and heart and she has a tumor on her lung. She was later diagnosed with Cancer - T Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. She has been a trooper through this process as she has pushed through her first rounds of Chemotherapy at Emory University Hospital here in Atlanta, but still has a long fight ahead of her.
In order to be by her side and fight this fight hard I've had to give up my job so that I am able to care for her during this fight of beating Cancer. We are learning that in order to provide the safest environment, treatments, supplies, medications that it comes with great costs to fight this Cancer head on. We understand that everyone has their own fights in life, but if you are able to help in any way it would be a true blessing and would give Ashley the opportunity to help fight this Cancer head on to a bright future.

Ashley is still fighting strong. She has gone from having the stomach flu to having a few viruses since being in remission. So we have been back and forth to Emory’s ER a few times. Her doctors are watching her carefully for the next 6 months. The Cancer is gone, but it definitely has left its mark. Ashley is having a lot of side effects to all the treatments she has had. Some of which are not covered by insurance. They will start her on some new meds come February. I can’t go back to work till she is fully off her meds and has everything under control. It’s been a trying time, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. We will continue to pray that soon she will be able to put this nightmare behind her and look forward to the bright future ahead of her, that she has fought SO hard for. Please continue to pray for Ashley and ANY help that comes her way is greatly appreciated. Thank you for being there for Ashley♥️

Well, we received her test results and Ashley's test came back ALL clear, she has truly Kicked Cancer's Ass! Now she still has to take all the same meds and the doctor says it will take about 9 months before she starts feeling like her self again. She still has fatigue and will slowly gain back her strength in her legs and body. She will have continuous blood checks and doctors appointments regularly, But REMISSION has a beautiful ring to it. Thank you for fighting along side Ashley we truly could not have gotten through this without your help! Your continued prayers are appreciated as Ashley now fights to keep Cancer away for good and works on gaining. back her strength.

Ashley's knee is doing better. She had a really rough bone marrow biopsy..she couldn't be numbed and very little pain med. Having to sit and listen to the screams I between the sounds of the drill were tough. She is a trooper and though it is a nightmare she will have for awhile she got the job done and they received a good sample. Hoping for brightest days ahead.

Ashley, you are such a determined fighter and here you are approaching the end and last round of your treatment. Praying for your journey's speedy conclusion and a successful outcome! May God touch your fragile body heal it and restore your strength coming out of this round. You have a life ahead awaiting for you that will be more rewarding to you than had you not gone down this path, as tough as it has been. Keep your chin up on the final round girl! (Robin, you are so amazing to be by her side as her biggest support - you need to be encouraged too. May God give you added strength to be at Ashley's side, her rock of support and love for her. I have been impressed by your endearing love for your lil girl. Keep it up! ).
