Fight for Ashley
She was full of life enjoying her Senior year at Eagles Landing High School and looking forward to going to the College of her dreams as she had recently been accepted to Ithaca College in upstate New York.
However, in March 2017 that all changed when she suddenly had trouble breathing and was taken to the hospital. It was there that we discovered that her body was producing a deadly liquid that was pushing against her lungs and heart and she has a tumor on her lung. She was later diagnosed with Cancer - T Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. She has been a trooper through this process as she has pushed through her first rounds of Chemotherapy at Emory University Hospital here in Atlanta, but still has a long fight ahead of her.
In order to be by her side and fight this fight hard I've had to give up my job so that I am able to care for her during this fight of beating Cancer. We are learning that in order to provide the safest environment, treatments, supplies, medications that it comes with great costs to fight this Cancer head on. We understand that everyone has their own fights in life, but if you are able to help in any way it would be a true blessing and would give Ashley the opportunity to help fight this Cancer head on to a bright future.
Ashley, you are such a determined fighter and here you are approaching the end and last round of your treatment. Praying for your journey's speedy conclusion and a successful outcome! May God touch your fragile body heal it and restore your strength coming out of this round. You have a life ahead awaiting for you that will be more rewarding to you than had you not gone down this path, as tough as it has been. Keep your chin up on the final round girl! (Robin, you are so amazing to be by her side as her biggest support - you need to be encouraged too. May God give you added strength to be at Ashley's side, her rock of support and love for her. I have been impressed by your endearing love for your lil girl. Keep it up! ).
