Ashley was a hard working High School Student who has achieved success as a artist on a local and national level. From being Georgia's GHP winner for Theatre Design to having her work displayed at Hartsfield International Airport and the High Museum of Art to being published in The United States Achievment Academy Yearbook. She is no stranger to working hard to achieve her goals. In High School she was President for Art Club, Drama Club, International Thespian Society and National Art Honor Society to name a few of her many accomplishments.

She was full of life enjoying her Senior year at Eagles Landing High School and looking forward to going to the College of her dreams as she had recently been accepted to Ithaca College in upstate New York.
However, in March 2017 that all changed when she suddenly had trouble breathing and was taken to the hospital. It was there that we discovered that her body was producing a deadly liquid that was pushing against her lungs and heart and she has a tumor on her lung. She was later diagnosed with Cancer - T Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. She has been a trooper through this process as she has pushed through her first rounds of Chemotherapy at Emory University Hospital here in Atlanta, but still has a long fight ahead of her.
In order to be by her side and fight this fight hard I've had to give up my job so that I am able to care for her during this fight of beating Cancer. We are learning that in order to provide the safest environment, treatments, supplies, medications that it comes with great costs to fight this Cancer head on. We understand that everyone has their own fights in life, but if you are able to help in any way it would be a true blessing and would give Ashley the opportunity to help fight this Cancer head on to a bright future.

July has definitely had its challenges, but It is with a happy heart that I report Ashley has indeed kicked Cancer to the curb! It has been a long year and a half of struggles from the darkest of places. I am so proud of Ashley for her courage and determination to beat cancer. Remission is a wonderful place to be. Though she has several obstacles to still over come where Cancer left it’s mark and medications she has to take for a few years, but she is now busy planning her future to attend college. If you are in any way able to help us get her on her way to a brighter future we would be entirely grateful for your help. We have to get a special out of state insurance for Ashley that will allow her to be able to get blood checks while she is on campus. A unexpected expense and So many things to get and not being able to work this past year has made it hard. Thank you to each and everyone of you who fought by Ashley side every step of the way. We are so blessed to have ALL of you in our lives. We most definitely couldn’t have made it this far with out you! From the bottoms of our hearts, Ashley and our family thanks you for being the light through our darkest days. We pray Cancer stays away FOREVER!

Ashley is still very sore, but is on strong pain meds. We are still waiting on results from her biopsy to see if the Pet Scan was accurate and the lymphoma has returned. We pray with everything in us that the pet scan is wrong. The past 2 weeks have been hard, but I remain by her side. For those of you who have donated thank you so VERY much. Not working has been tough and your help is truly helping us in getting to the hospital and getting Ashley everything she needs to remain strong. Ashley appreciates everything that comes her way. Continued prayers as we await these test results.♥️

Well Ashley made it through surgery. She said it feels like swallowing glass. They removed her tonsils and we now wait for the biopsy results. Hoping and praying we don’t get a repeat diagnosis. I will be by her side through this all and want to thank all of you for continuing to fight along side Ashley as she fights for her future. Your donations and prayers are helping us through the darkest of times. They mean more than you know. True blessings♥️

In keeping with her privacy of our newest discovery I haven’t mention anything till now, but Ashley needs your prayers and help once again. Her 6 month Pet Scan Ashley’s results came back positive for around her neck. Hard news after all that she has been through. She is having Surgery and another Biopsy this coming week. Giving up working to be by her side, because I can’t imagine being any where else. The doctors say it’s going to be a extremely painful recovery. Anything you can do to help us get through this week is greatly appreciated. Prayers in numbers goes along way. Thank you for fighting along side Ashley as she continues to fight hard for her chance at a future. We head back to Emory Hospital early tomorrow. Thanks Again♥️

Ashley, you are such a determined fighter and here you are approaching the end and last round of your treatment. Praying for your journey's speedy conclusion and a successful outcome! May God touch your fragile body heal it and restore your strength coming out of this round. You have a life ahead awaiting for you that will be more rewarding to you than had you not gone down this path, as tough as it has been. Keep your chin up on the final round girl! (Robin, you are so amazing to be by her side as her biggest support - you need to be encouraged too. May God give you added strength to be at Ashley's side, her rock of support and love for her. I have been impressed by your endearing love for your lil girl. Keep it up! ).
