Fight Breast Cancer with Sue Fink.
With my mothers consent we thought it is the appropriate time to share that she was diagnosed with HER2 breast cancer a couple months ago. She had surgery to remove both the cancerous lump in her breast and a lymph node. Sue will be beginning chemotherapy early July and will receive treatments for up to four months but will also be receiving other treatments to erradicate the cancer for a total of a year. There is no good time to share this with anyone and we are trying to stay positive. Anthony Kerzman had the idea to begin this campaign to help with her medical costs. I will be visiting my mom in late July so please if you are unable to donate and have a message you would like me to bring to her that is JUST AS CRUCIAL to her healing. She is getting great care in Portland, Oregon but it comes with a price tag that has been and will be hard on her and Kim. Their small family is helping where and when they can afford to. Every cent is very much appreciated. Funds will be used to help Sue pay her existing and upcoming medical bills as well as gas money (to get to her appointments), wigs and scarves, and food and other small financial losses during her year of treatment.
