***PLEASE DO NOT DONATE ANYMORE****

UPDATE: we finally had the funds available to pay for Oscar treatment today, He was at animal care hospital all day doing testing and we should receive the results within a day or two. Doctor Boyd did an examantion on Oscar and was very hopeful with his condition! He said even with his medication he wouldn’t be doing as good as he is if he needed a liver shunt. All we are asking is for prayers at the moment that the test results come back negative and we can continue treating Oscar for his aspiration and continue on a healthy road for him. I can not express my gratitude for each and everyone of you. For donating, praying and sharing. We literally couldn’t be one step closer to closure through this traumatic experience. A dog is a life long companion and a family member. If you could please share this update so others can see because I know other people I do not know personally have been on this ride with us. My family and I promise to pay this good deed forward and help other families whenever we can. If anyone would like to write me and set up a date to meet Oscar, I know he would love to meet his support and give them all puppy kisses! The Lord works miracles and I am amazed by the community for helping us and lifting us up through these trying times! Thank you all again! Once I receive his test results I will post further updates and his progress!

On Feb 16,2019 at 6:30pm Oscar starting vomiting and within 5 minutes collapsed. We lost Oscar on our way to the emergency clinic, upon arrival he was non responsive and he had to be intubated. The doctors were able to bring Oscar back and treat him for aspiration due to him breathing in his vomit and it filled his lungs. The doctors believe Oscar needs a portosystemic shunt so toxins can stop leaking into his system. Right now to run the tests and continue treatment we need to raise $844.00 dollars. Ive already spent 1207.00 of my own funds. Oscar is the heart to our family and we are trying our hardest to keep him alive. Right now he is at home on medications to keep him alive because the vet will not continue treatment until payment is received. Every dollar counts and we ask if you can not donate please pray and lift Oscar up to the lord, and also please share to all your friends!

update: we set the price at $1500 just in case more is needed after this test comes back. Right now our goal 844.17 to be able to test for the liver shunt!
